Sea Bass Fishing

Its been awhile since I've gonna fishing. Have I mention I love to fish, fishing is really relaxing to me just hearing the water splashing against the jetty and no one to weary about but you and the fishing rod trying synchronous as one to feel the sensation pull of a bit from a fish.

A few days ago my ex-wife's brother Jay and his family came to visit her from Colorado. It was really awkward for him to be here but staying at his sisters' house instead with me and her.  Even though the awkwardness was there I want to show him that our friendship over the years can not break because of the mistake his sister and I made, so I invited him to go fishing with me and my nephew at the coast for rock fish or sea bass fish.  We were fishing off of Barview Jetty, Barview Oregon.

Sometime it's not the fish you catch but the friendship you've made during the fishing trip.  Jay and I had build a everlasting friendship between us.  We would share many great stories of our fishing trip, laugh about them, and cheer with joy of the success when we've catch fish and how big nor small the fish are we enjoy being together.  He feels like a big brother/ best friend to me.  We had many great memories over the years regarding fishing and hunting.  Those memories will be close to me forever.

I wanted to him know that I love him dearly, regardless of the situation his sister and I are. I will always be a friend to him.

Love your brother,

Baby Egg Plant

The baby egg plant was taken in my backyard, where my brothers and sister-n-laws are planting a new crop for this coming year.

Graduation

My oldest daughter is graduating from elementary school today. It was a happy moment for her. She just graduated from the sixth grade and next year she'll be attending middle school.   I could see it in her face as I gave her a big hug after she had receive her certificate from completing elementary. How time sure flies by, it felt like yesterday when I graduated from sixth grade from Miramonte Elementary School in Clovis, California.  I was very excited as well that I was growing older and becoming into my pre-teens. Now looking back I wish I could live it again but at a slower pace to enjoy every moment instead of growing up so fast. Those were the innocent days; none thing to weary about, just having fun, and enjoying life.

I'm so proud of her accomplishment because she had to change schools two years ago. She had to endure the new change and make new friends from the move. Beside from changing school and she had to deal with divorce parents. Through all that drama she encounter in life, she continue to do well in school and kept focus.  Even though this is a small step in her path, I hope she will continue to work hard and progress in her learning so that one day she will make me a proud parent.  I know she will encounter more difficult things in her path of life but I hope it will not be like this again.  I would like to wish her well as she continue to learn.

Love, Dad

Second Chance

SECOND CHANCE

Prior to reading this book what drew me to read it was the title of the book. These last couple years I've been going through some rough times and I believe everybody deserves a second chance!

I'm not really into reading as most people know me, however at the beginning of the year I had set a goal for myself to at-least finish two novel book. Here I am on June 4, 2012 I've completed my second book ahead of my goal for this year. The novel is called, "On the Divinity of Second Chances by Kaya McLaren"

This particular book is very easy reading. The chapters are not too long so that you won't get lost in the storyline and keep you interested in on the subject matter. I thought at the beginning of the book it was very slow because I had to get familiarize with the characters and time, then it pick up fast. Or maybe I'm so into it and I just kept on reading and didn't want to put the book down. In this particular book I laugh, I cried, and I smiled that everybody has a second chance in life. Whatever you are looking for be patience and the rewarding will double.  I recommend this book because it's easy reading and fun to read.
Onto my next book...
