Table Mountain

Crossing a small stream

My wife and I are planning to hike Mount St. Helens in May of 2016. The highest peak is 8,366' we will be climbing/ hiking about 6000' towards the top. So we have been going on some challenging hikes to condition our legs for the Mount St. Helens. I will definitely share my journey when I summit Mount St. Helens.

This shelter was built along the pacific crest trials (PCT) where hikers could camp or took refuge for the night in case it rain.
We were at half way point, looking upwards to the top of Table Mountain 3400 feet above sea level.

Random red mushrooms along the side of the hiking path.

At the top looking towards the south side over viewing the Bonneville Dam and the Columbia gorge. What a beautiful site and clear day but cloudy. Good thing it didn't rain until we were inside the car.

Have you done any hikes?
