It’s a life time experience to be able to attend MSP annual soccer
tournament. If you haven’t gone to it, it has to be a must! I highly recommend
singles who are over the legal age of drinking. The atmosphere was so exciting
to be around thousands of fellow Hmong across the nation and even from around
the world. Uniting to one place to
compete to see who are the best in their sports. Some of the sports included; soccer,
volleyball, and flag football to name a few. There are others as well. Watching the sports event was pretty good but
it was so darn hot to be in the sun to watch all the sports event. I drank so much water to keep myself dehydrated
from the heat and humanity weather in MSP.
I met new and old friends from across the country from the
sports event and at the parties. Some of
them I haven’t seen for more than 10 year plus.
It was great to see them all and catching up with them. Beside the old faces, I was able to meet new
faces as well. It was interesting to meeting new faces in MSP if you are a
single person going to MSP for the J4. The
night life was the place to meet up with the younger crowd and out coming people. Many of the parties in the MSP area are pack
with concerts from varies Hmong band and some of the night club are rented to
the Hmong community for this special event weekend. By going to the clubs most likely you’ll meet
someone new and who are from another state.
The clubs have many different types to tailor for the younger and older
crowd. If you want to go to meet up with
the younger crowd go to down town Minneapolis and if you want to meet up with
the older crowd go to Stargate, La 52, and AC.
Maybe I’ll come again next year?
