Mount St. Helens

On top, Front view looking down to base camp.

On top, Back view looking into the carter of Mount St. Helens and in the far distance is Mount Rainer.

Working our way up and up...

Took a quick rest to see how far we had hike up the side of Mount St. Helens.

Here I am at the top of Mount St. Helens.

My wife and I met a few hikers on our way up that wasn't able to make it to the top of the summit due to lack of training and muscle cramp.  It's a good thing we had been training our legs to summit this mountain, their were several time we were asking ourselves why we are doing this hike?  It's one of the toughest hike so far for us.

Have you explore new hiking grounds lately?

Congratulations to you and your wife! You do it for the challenge and to fulfill someone's "great idea" to hike up Mount St. Helens. Plus, you only said that this time around, you intended to hike and explore more, and not be like how you were before your divorce. Maybe for you, you're following through on your promises. ;P

I'm sure the experience will provide you with lots of stories to share later on. Hope you both had a lot of fun.---WW

WW, thanks for stopping by and checking on my blog. A change for the better for someone you love, could be happier. Life is much better spent with those you love.
